Since 2003, Cafe PAP has been committed to ethically sourcing and roasting the highest quality Arabica coffee from the soils of Mt. Elgon. Our coffee is sourced from a few groups of women who grow coffee on a small scale holding in the Bulago area at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level. This is the area that hosts one of the most spectacular natural features of the planet earth, the wonder Sisiyi River, which meanders both on surface and underground as it traverses to the low lands. The brand Bulago 5900 is indeed a special and unique coffee with Dark Chocolate Notes, Brown Sugar Sweetness, and hints of Lemon Zest.
The specially roasted Bulago 5900 coffee is served across our 3 locations in Kampala and Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge in Kasese, as well as through a number of key partners who discern quality. Coffee being the lynchpin of our business, we continue to grow our footprint one cup at a time! All our coffee is batch-roasted to produce a perfect Cafe PAP flavor profile, characteristic of the range of premium quality espresso-based beverages we serve.

Launched in 2019, our unique and healthy ranges of cold-pressed juices are hermetically prepared with the use of a hydraulic press machine. Unlike other common juicers, Cold press juicing keeps all the nutrients in the vegetables and fruits intact since no oxygen or heat, which destroy vitamins and antioxidants are introduced. Provision of cold-pressed, fresh, and raw organic juices that are nutrient-dense and antioxidant-rich is key in bolstering immunity. We use sustainably grown vegetables in our juices. The recipes are carefully and individually designed with the intention of offering a range of other nutritional benefits. 

Born on simple finger foods over 17 years ago, Cafe PAP’s culinary vision quickly grew into a continental cuisine using fresh ingredients served in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Ranging from freshly baked in-house pastries to our carefully grilled meals, our team strives to serve food that shall be loved and cherished by our guests.
